Dutch doll artist Ankie Daanen has been making dolls since 1979.  Her dolls are creative and inventive in style and shape and her use of materials is innovative and original.  She teaches a master class in doll making in Holland. 
"Everyone carries their own 'story' around with them, be it happy or sad," she says.  "I would like to express that in my dolls.  The emotions must be evident..."  

All Ankie Daanen dolls are one of a kind porcelain.
